In 2007, we had a beautiful patio installed by Holloway. A year or so later
our driveway sunk and our builder (who will remain anonymous) ripped up 1/4
of our patio to fix the sink hole. Of course the builder made an AWFUL
attempt to put the patio back together (this involved a hammer and bashing
pavers together to make them fit). After a long drawn out argument with the
builder, we folded and just left the patio looking terrible. We were
advised by a lawyer that it would cost us a lot of money to take the builder
to court, but that's a whole other story. I'm not here to complain about
the situation, but I am writing this to tell everyone that Holloway was
installing a patio for a house down the street and Dave Frutchey from
Holloway came by with the owner and told us that they would fix our patio. On
Friday, our patio was restored to its original condition and it looks
great!! Holloway has excellent customer service and they do beautiful work.
There are many patio companies out there (some cheaper and some more
expensive) but in no way was Holloway obligated to help us and they did! If
anyone is looking to have a new patio installed, please consider using

We chose the Holloway Company to execute the largest home improvement project that we have ever done. This involved a hardscape (deck, patio, fireplace, etc) including integrating our existing in-ground pool. Ted and team delivered on time and on budget with considerate, professional, experienced personnel. I believe the tenure of the team along with the vertical integration that Ted has achieved (people, trucks, reselling appliances, etc.) sets them apart. I used the Holloway Company for a substantial hardscape/landscape project at my home. Ted and team are creative, professional, trustworthy and do fantastic work at reasonable prices. From the Cabana, to the Patio, Deck, Pergola's and man made Creek we could not be happier. We also went with Holloway for our deck, patio and sitting wall. I would definitely recommend them. Remember with patios its all about the base. Some contractors may give you a lower price, but make sure that they put at least a 6-8 inch base of stone, gravel and sand. On our patio, Holloway started with fist-sized rocks and got smaller with each layer. I’m thinking they put at least a 10 inch base. This thing will be here long after we are!!!

I’d like to express how thrilled I am with the patio project that Holloway recently completed at my town home in South Riding. I found Dave to be very professional and always helpful in responding to any questions. I was also very impressed with the design that he presented which offered several useful and unique design features that other companies I’d contacted hadn’t considered. I also found Holloway’s staff to be hard-working and polite. The workers left the site clean and secure every evening and their pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail were quite evident.
